Focus on ACC

Well a psychologist asked me why I didn't pay for my own rehabiltation!

My answer was simple enough.. If ACC won't pay for it and won't reimburse me for it if I'm successful.. WTF should I pay..

Under current legislation I am responsible for my own rehabilitation. If ACC isn't prepared to fund rehabiltation why should I? after all I'm injured and only receiving 80% of my pre-accident earnings.

Feeding the Family and paying the mortgage doesn't leave a lot extra for rehabilitation.. Actually less now that there is a surcharge for visits to the physio and ACC are looking to push me off their books for "non compliance" simply because I can't afford the physio surcharge.. 

Still its hard enough finding a vocational consultant who is sensitive to my cultural heritage.

Not many of them accept that I come a long line of Welsh robber barons and that gratutious violence, mayhem and pillaging are an honoured heritage.

When I expand on that belief and that ACC lackies should be beheaded for their bullshit the various consultants and experts seem to shufffle their papers and back out the door..

Really I'm distraught! how can these experts judge me and my capabilities when they won't look me in the eye!

Take for example our latest round of assessments.

Do ACC arsessors seriously think I'm not ideally suited to the position of Brazilian Waxing technician.

1. I'm a dirty old biker.
2. It doesn't hurt me
3. I'm happy to kiss it better afterwards.

Likewise when I expressed a profound interest in becoming qualified to pierce nipples and genitalia.

FFS. I'm not embarrassed.  Why should the ACC appointed arsessor be embarrassed for me..

Is or is not the position of genitalia mutilator medically sustainable? Thats the only question they should be asking.

All I need is a stainless steel staple gun and a sterilizing machine and Bobs your queer Aunty.. I'm off ACC books... Hey I'd be happy with an hours work a week ;)

Maybe I should be asking for a certificate in Adult Training and opening a Business as a genitalia mutilator trainer seeing as ACC can't find anybody qualified to train me.

Well in reality what's the difference between tagging a cow and tagging a clitoris or penis,.. None really! It doesnt hurt me and that should be ACC's chief concern.. It's not as if some guy is gonna punch me out when both his hands are busy trying to stem the pain from his new prince albert is it! (not that I'm likely to offer to kiss that better)

If I get it wrong with my experiments ACC will have the foot the bill for a "medical misadventure"... :) no care no responsibility. Just like the revered medical Profession such as Prof Gorman who carried out hundreds of experiments on ACC claimants without disclosing that his "tests" were actually experiments.

In reality if ACC paid for me to obtain a certificate in Adult training I could legitimately open a school for training people to park supermarket trolleys.. surely a win win situation.

1. ACC would get me off their books.
2. I could charge ACC millions of dollars a year to train perspective supermarket trolley recovery operators.
